Alfred Bushell, 1827-1899

I have received the following query from someone researching the family of Paul and Isabella Bushell:

"When I came to Alfred Bushell 1827, I notice that most people have accepted the 1899 date as the death of Alfred. I also see you have used it on you paper on the Family of Paul Bushell. I am wondering if you have sighted the death certificate, because when I look at the listing on NSW births death and marriages, it gives the parents as George and Sarah.I realise that it may have been a non family member who gave the information, and therefore may have it wrong, or perhaps it was his brother George who gave the details, and was put as the father in error. I have contacted those on ancestry with a private tree on ancestry to ask if they have anything different, but so far they all seem to have used 1899."

I'm happy to confirm that I'm a descendant of Alfred and I do have a copy of Alfred's death certificate. He died at the Liverpool home of his daughter Corah Pascoe on 7 May 1899. The coroner was the informant for the death certificate and he incorrectly recorded Alfred's parent names as George Bushell and Sarah Brown.
